Specimen 002 · The Brief. A mid-rise bamboo-viscose brief, cut box-low at the leg. Three times softer than cotton after one wash, naturally thermo-regulating, and knit in a single piece so there's nothing to itch.

The grove

Grown in a single stand of Phyllostachys edulis in Itoshima, Fukuoka. Bamboo is harvested at four years — not eight, like the industry default — so the fibre is finer. We've named the stand "Aiko" after the farmer's grandmother.
